Since 1974, the Sheltered Workshop has been incorporated and certified to provide mentally and physically challenged people with opportunities for meaningful employment, training and rehabilitation. We offer a variety of rehabilitative and vocational training programs and services that are tailored to each person's abilities and needs, in an Individualized Service Plan. our Consumers enjoy an enabling and productive work environment - and each person earns their own paycheck!

The primary focus of  SWA is to raise the quality of life of consumers by developing their independence and self-esteem through work skills in real jobs. The Workshop has vast experience providing rehabilitative and vocational services. It serves a wide variety of consumers who work for wages and develop living skills , with many going on to integrated competitive workplaces.

Our employees operate in a 20,000 square foot facility and perform a variety of sub-contract work as well as maintaining a plastic extrusion manufacturing line.
